We are a small team of developers & QA testers who had an idea and brought it to life!
What?
In a nutshell, Ez Interceptor is an application that creates a browser that monitors network traffic, allowing you to manipulate & intercept requests and responses for quick and efficient testing & development.
Why?
When testing API based web applications, being able to intercept API traffic and mock data assists developers and testers alike in efficiently testing scenarios directly contributing to faster development and testing. No coding knowledge required!
But how does it work?
It is as easy as:
- Boot Ez Interceptor Desktop App
- Click “Add API”
- Enter a Name, Endpoint & the desired Json Response
- Click Intercept
- Click Start Browser & go to the web application that makes the API request, and watch your custom response be inserted in real time as you navigate your application.

More than Json!
Currently Ez Interceptor only works with JSON but we are hard at work adding the functionality to validate/intercept & manipulate other data types as well.
Robust Interceptions
We understand sometimes you need to change options back and forth repeatedly on the same request/response. With Robust Interceptions, you will be able to add a json response, that we will it breakdown and allow you to save the responses you want to use for a specific key for use later at the click of a button rather than typing it out.
Response Manipulation
The demo only allows you to intercept a request and insert your own response. With Response Manipulation, you will be able to capture the response and edit specific fields using the response as a starting point rather than what was entered in the interceptor.
Executing Test Script Live
We are working to add the functionality to be able to execute test scripts directly from the interceptor to provide you with extremely robust ways of testing while simultaneously intercepting API interactions allowing for quick and reliable testing.
